To best protect your Stone Luxxe jewelry, we recommend removing it while washing your hands, showering, swimming, exercising, heavier house cleaning and prior to applying any personal care products. Avoiding jewelry contact with agents such as perfume, lotions, makeup, hair and cleaning products, etc., will go a long way in preserving brightness and shine of your treasures. We also suggest frequently polishing your pieces with a lint-free microfiber suede cloth, such as you would use to polish eyeglass lenses. Sterling Silver will naturally oxidize and thus tarnish over time due to the moisture content in the air. This tends to happen faster if left out in the open and not often worn. To slow down the oxidation process, it’s best to keep your pieces in small zip-loc plastic bags (such as included in the original packaging).
At Stone Luxxe, we really love our quartz crystal points. We love that they manage to be bohemian and modern at the same time, how they make awesome “charms” for bracelets, necklaces and earrings, and most of all we ADORE how the light dances on them. The one drawback to these beautiful needlepoint quartz is that they do NOT fall gracefully, so it is best that your jewelry be kept somewhere secure (especially out of reach of tiny hands and curious kitty paws!)
Let’s face it, life can be tough on jewelry and sometimes even more so on handcrafted jewelry that is not mass produced in a factory. If within 3 years of the original purchase a Stone Luxxe piece breaks, we will repair it at no cost to you other than the shipping costs to send it to us. All you need to do is the following:
- Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know your piece is need of repair
- Securely package parts of broken item, preferably in the original packaging
- Send the package to us at: 2325 Maricopa Hwy, Ojai, CA 93023
- Allow 10-20 business days for the repairs to be complete, the clock starts once we receive your package
